Obituary for Eda Whitehill Eda Whitehill, 95 years young, passed away on Tuesday, January 08, 2019 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, New Jersey. Eda was born August 03, 1923 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to the late Rocco and Mary (Allegra) Clementi. She lived in Somerset, New Jersey for 25 years and was previously from Plainsboro, New Jersey.

Known as Edie, she worked as a dental assistant in New Brunswick until her retirement in 1977. She began her second career as co-owner of EDA Trucking with her late husband, William Whitehill. A fashionista, Edie loved clothes and enjoyed dressing in her favorite color green.

She also enjoyed learning new exercises and lifted weights well into her 90’s. An independent woman for her time, she lived on her own till the end enjoying her collection of music, which spanned from Big Band to ABBA. She loved theater and the Big City.

Edie was preceded by brothers and sisters, Frank Clementi, James Clementi, Vincent Clementi, Olympia McKnight, Julia Kessinger and Yolanda Tucker and son in law John Killimett. She is survived by her daughters, Kate Warnebold, and Connie Killimett; her son, John Grzyb; son in law Michael Telatovich, her step son, William Russel Whitehill and his wife Terri; her grandchildren, Anthony Carter and his wife Alvida and Bethney Whitehill-Finch; her great- grandchildren, Jayden, Jaxson and Kaden and many nieces and nephews. Edie is now in her final career as guardian angel to her family who she loved dearly.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, January 11th from 4-8 P.M. at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street, Somerset, NJ 08873. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at the Gleason Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Franklin Memorial Park Mausoleum in North Brunswick.
