Eddie McDowell July 4, 1959 – December 30, 2018 Eddie McDowell, age 59, of Ball Ground, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Randy Cloer and Rev.

Roger McClure officiating. Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Eddie was a Truck Driver for Advanced Disposal. He enjoyed logging, hunting, horses and wagon riding. His greatest love was spending time with his children and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Syble McDowell; survivors include his wife and friend, Jinnia McDowell; daughters, Kimberly McDowell, Shannon Knowles, Nicki Kelcourse, Amanda Lankford and Aleshia McDowell; siblings, Alice Luther, Vernon McDowell, Winnie Priest, Benny McDowell, Ricky McDowell, Hazel Abernathy, Rosa Bruce, William McDowell and Mildred Woolum; 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to assist the family. Sosebee Funeral Home, Canton, GA, is honored to serve the family.
