OBITUARY Edith J Lowe December 18, 1932 – December 31, 2018 Edith Jewell Shaw Lowe of Claiborne County, went to be with her Heavenly Father on December 31, 2018. Born December 18, 1932 to William and Doshie Shaw. Edith was married to the love of her life William “Bill” Lowe on July 3, 1948.

She was saved at an early age and was a member at Duncan Chapel Church. Edith was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years William “Bill” Lowe. Loving parents William and Doshie Shaw.

Two loving sons Infant Jerry Lynn Lowe and Larry David Lowe. One beautiful granddaughter Edith Marie Chumley. Two sisters Gladys Haynes and Nancy Smith.

One brother Willard Shaw. Survivors whom she loved with all her heart. Daughters and son-in-laws Judy and Lynn Widner, Debbie Chumley and Eddie McMurray, and Pamela Lowe and Bill Moyers.

Grandsons Jeff Widner, Donnie Widner, Jason Widner, and Victor Chumley. Granddaughters Angela Chumley and Keyaira Sockwell. Great granddaughters Carol Mabe and Stacey and husband Jackie Atkins.

Great grandsons Cameron Widner, Shawn Widner, Christopher Widner, and Lonnie Mabe. Ten great-great grandchildren Mason, Jaxxon, Benlynn, Zoey, Khloe, Weston, Braydan, Maggie, Bentley, and Braxton. Sisters Bertha and John Lynch of Tazewell, Mary Farmer of New Tazewell, Eula Gray Cochran of Knoxville, TN.

Special care takers Pauline Meyers, Stephanie Brooks and her niece Donna Roberts and daughters. As well as a host of nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Amedisys Hospice, Amedisys Home Health, Dr. Debusk and her nurse Abby Hamilton.

The family will receive friends Thursday January 3rd from 5 until 7 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. The graveside service will be Friday January 4th at 11 AM in the Fairview Cemetery.

Ministers: Rev. Mitchell Fergerson and Rev. Reggie Large.

Singers: Greg and Kierstin Moyers. Pallbearers: Greg Moyers, Roger Moyers, L.C. Moyers, Bobbie Roberts, Logan Fergerson, and Rev. Reggie Large.

Honorary Pallbearers: Grandsons. Coffey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
