Obituary for Edna “Blue” Claude Cooper Print Edna Claude “Blue” Cooper, 68, of Rock Hill and formerly of Montgomery Village, MD, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 17, 2019 at home. She was born November 26, 1950 in Seat Pleasant, MD, daughter of late William and Alice Cox. Blue retired from the US Postal Service after many years of dedicated service.
Active in her community, she volunteered often with RHDC Dream Store in Rock Hill. She enjoyed sewing, but most important to her was her family. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Don Cooper and wife, Ciara of Rock Hill; grandchildren, Sierra Duplantis, Trejun Cooper, Kymber Cooper and Karleigh Cooper; sisters, Marie Cox of FL, Teresa Moore and husband, Roger of WV and LucettaMae Marquart of NJ; brothers, Billy Cox and wife, Rebecca of NJ, Vernon Marquart and wife, Diana of MD and Timothy Marquart, Sr. and wife, Cindy of FL; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home and those times will be announced when arrangements are finalized.
