Edna “GRAM” W. Cole, an amazing lady, age 71 of Mifflin, passed away on December 7, 2018 at Ohio Health Med Central. Born in Richland County on October 13, 1947 the daughter of Howard and Evelyn (Pierce) Malone she had been an Ashland County resident most of her life. Mrs. Cole was a retired employee of Liqui-Box and was also employed at the Skyway East Restaurant.

She had a very loving heart that touched all the lives around her. Her smile and laughter radiated joy, she will be missed by all that knew her. She was married to Robert Cole who preceded her in death in 2010.

Survivors include one daughter, Traci Page-Ellis of Perrysville and one son and daughter in law, Jeffery (Landa) Page of Lucas. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Rachael Ellis, Zach Stuhldreher, Lauren Page, Kennedy Page and Dylan Page. She is also survived by 2 great grandsons, Drew Stuhldreher and Joseph John Ellis Keener.

Two brothers and two sisters also survive, Robert Miller of Pennsylvania, Evelyn (Dan) Bucky of Lakeside Ohio, LaVonna (George) Baker of Mifflin and Kenneth (Rae) Malone of Mansfield. Also surviving are two sisters in law, Diana Rollason of Bailey Lakes and Ayako Miller of Pennsylvania. In addition to her husband Robert, she is preceded in death by siblings, Louise Keener, Charles Malone, Janice Malone, John Malone and James Malone.

Edna was a member of the Four Square Gospel Church in Ashland and was a 1965 Graduate of Malabar High School. A celebration of Edna’s life will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Heyl Funeral home at 6:30 P.M. with Rev. Carl Pierce officiating.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 5:00 P.M. till service time at 6:30.
