Eduardo’s Obituary EDUARDO ADAN GARCIA JULY 12,1954-MARCH 14,2019 “ I shall pass this way but once; any good that I can do or any kindness I can show to any human being; let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again”. Eduardo Adan Garcia 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on Thursday, March 14, 2019.

He is preceded in Death by his loving wife Bertha “Birdie” Fuentes Garcia; father: Matias A. Garcia Sr. and his mother: Esperanza “Toto” Martinez Garcia. Left behind to cherish the memories are his daughter’s Gloria Linda Garcia, Angelica Luz (Sergio Antonio Ferretiz) Garcia and his son Daniel Jesus Garcia; grandchildren: Andrea Love Garcia, Jasmine Alexis Garcia, Felicia Adelina Ferretiz, Sergio Damian Ferretiz, Christopher Garcia and Johnathan Garcia; brother-in-law: Higinio (Alicia) Fuentes Jr. of San Angelo; brother’s Matias A. “Tony” (Maria Elena Alonzo) Garcia Jr. from Weslaco and Roberto Luis (Ana Gonzalez) Garcia of Laredo; nieces and nephews: Natalie Marie Garcia, John Paul Garcia, Higinio Fuentes III and Omar Fuentes. He is further survived by long time and close family friends: Nick and Bea Balli, Carol and Victor Gunnoe, Cindy and Nato Ramirez, Brother Nash, Laura and Gabriel De Leon.

Eduardo was a lifetime music educator for Hidalgo, Zapata and Laredo ISD’s. He graduated from Nixon HS in 1972 and Texas A&I University Kingsville Texas in 1978. He had a passion for music and was willing and lovingly shared that talent and passion to many students throughout his career.
