Elia Flores July 24, 1953 – March 01, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Elia Flores, 65, entered into the presence of God, Our Father, on Friday, March 1, 2019 in Laredo Texas. Elia’s passing has left in us a void in our hearts. She had a heart of gold and never had a moment in which she regretted what she did.

“We will miss you, but know that your memory will live in our hearts for years to come”. She attended Laredo Public Schools and graduated from Martin High School Class of 1972. Elia attended Laredo Junior College and then graduated Laredo State University in 1978 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.

She continued her career as an educator at Martin High School for many years. Elia is preceded in death by her parents Oved (Paula Espinoza) Flores; brothers, Oved, Moises, and Josue Flores. She is survived by her siblings, Eustolia (Abraham) Romero, Yolanda (+Rodolfo) Bernal, Erson (Juanita) Flores, Paula F Ashby, and Emeteria Flores.

She is also survived numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces and many friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A chapel service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Cristian Flores, Rodolfo Bernal, Jr. Humberto Flores, Juan Antonio Romero Josue Flores, Jr., and Angel Flores.
