Obituary Service Details Eduardo “Lalo” Dominguez, 70, of Oxnard passed away on Tuesday February 12, 2019 after a brief battle with esophageal cancer. He was born in Durango, Mexico to Isidria Garcia and Gabriel Dominguez on October 15, 1948. He married Esperanza Dominguez Avila on March 17, 1973 in Oxnard, California.
He was a jack of all trades, but his favorite occupation was as the custodian at Our Lady of Guadalupe School in Oxnard where he touched the hearts of both students, faculty, and their families for more than 20 years. Those that knew him could attest to the light he brought into a room. His humor and smile are engraved in the hearts of those he encountered.
Eduardo is preceded in death by his parents Isidria and Gabriel Dominguez, in laws Ylario & Eloisa Avila, his son, Ismael Dominguez, sister in law, Irene Eloisa Avila (2/10/2019) brother in law, Ylario jr. “shoe” and most esteemed cousin, Ezequiel Garcia. He is survived by his wife and their children, Isabel Gomez, Eduardo Dominguez, Ester Dominguez-Gonzalez, Mario Dominguez, and Victoria Dominguez, by his Daughter in Laws: Maribel Dominguez and Genesis Renteria, his son-in-laws: Erik Gonzalez, Luis Fernando Gomez, and Alberto Miranda, his grandchildren: Nathan, Mia, and Brianna Dominguez, Emiliano and Elena Gonzalez, Luna, Adali, and Elias Samuel Gomez Dominguez.
The Rosary will be at 6:30pm Friday February 22, 2019 at Saint Anthony’s Church in Oxnard. Funeral services will be held at 9:00am Saturday February 23, 2019 also at Saint Anthony’s Church. Burial will follow at Santa Clara Cemetery in Oxnard.

Se casó con Esperanza Dominguez Avila el 17 de marzo de 1973 en Oxnard, California. Su ocupación favorita fue conserje en la escuela de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, en Oxnard, donde tocó los corazones de los estudiantes, Facultad y sus familias por más de 20 años. Los que lo conocieron podrían atestiguar a la luz que traía.
Su humor y su sonrisa están grabadas en los corazones de los que se encontraba. Le sobreviven su esposa Esperanza, sus hijos, Isabel Gómez, Eduardo Dominguez, Ester Dominguez-Gonzalez, Mario Dominguez y Victoria Domínguez, por sus nueras: Maribel Dominguez y Génesis Rentería, su yernos: Erik Gonzalez, Luis Fernando Gómez Cornejo y Alberto Miranda, sus nietos: Nathan, Mia y Brianna Dominguez, Emiliano y Elena Gonzalez, Luna, Adali y Elias Samuel Gomez Dominguez.
El Rosario será a las 6:30 de la tarde viernes, 22 de febrero de 2019 en la iglesia de San Antonio en Oxnard. Servicios funerarios se celebrará a las 9:00 de la mañana Sábado, 23 de febrero de 2019 también en la iglesia de San Antonio. Seguirá el entierro en el cementerio de Santa Clara en Oxnard.
