OBITUARY Edward Anthony Morales, Jr. March 12, 1990 – December 14, 2018 Edward “Anthony” Morales, Jr. passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, on Friday, December 14, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. Anthony was 28 years of age. Anthony was born in San Antonio, Texas on March 12, 1990 at Wilford Hall Medical Center on Lackland Air Force Base to Edward Anthony Morales and Aimee Kay McKinney.

His “hometown” was Pflugerville, Texas and he was a graduate of Pflugerville High School, Class of 2008. Anthony was employed part-time, but was ultimately a musician, playing drums at church and most recently in his band Lions & Tigers. Anthony was a caring, loving and truly devoted son, grandson, brother and friend to so many.

He will be forever remembered for his true, one of a kind personality, that was filled with laughter, generosity, empathy and love for everyone. He was passionate about his music, family, friends, and his faithful companion “Daisy”. Anthony was also an unwavering fan of the San Antonio Spurs, Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys.

We know now that Anthony touched more lives than we imagined. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his parents, Edward Anthony Morales and Aimee Kay Morales; sister, Ashlee Megan Morales; maternal great-grandfather Frances McMillen; maternal grandparents Michael L. & Barbara E. McKinney and Mary “Marlene” McKinney Kucsan & Frank Kucsan; paternal grandfather, Edward “Eddie” Ramon Morales; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and close friends.

Anthony was preceded in death by paternal grandmother Margaret Casanova-Morales. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Cook Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North IH-35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00 pm and following the service from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Cook Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home.
