Edward Charles Milton January 22, 1951 – March 14, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Edward Charles Milton, 68, Burlington, died on March 14, 2019, at the Coffey County Hospital. Edward was born on January 22, 1951, in Denver, to Clarence and Edith Mae Grotz Milton. On August 10, 1974, he married Valerie Chapman in Denver.

He grew up in Denver and joined the United States Navy on May 27, 1969, till his honorable discharge on October 23, 1970. He had worked as a truck driver. He and Valerie moved to Burlington from Denver about 12 years ago.

Edward is survived by his wife, Valerie, of the home, a daughter, Katrina (Clifford) Burbridge, Burlington, a son, Shane (Juanita) Milton, Denver, 6 grandchildren, two brothers, Mike (Carol) Milton, and Wayne (Nancy) Milton, all of Colorado, three sisters, Wilma Johnson, CO, Mary Milton, SD, and Carey Myers, FL, other relatives and friends. As to his wishes he was cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, March 21, 2019, at the Jones Funeral Home, Burlington.
