Hocking, age 71, of Mineral Point, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Upland Hills Health. Ed was born on October 6, 1947 in Darlington to William and Iva (Champion) Hocking. He attended Darlington Schools where he sang in the choir.
Ed worked for the Dodgeville Street Department for many years. his favorite pastimes were riding his Harley, shooting pool, his Ham Radios and listening to music. He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
Ed is survived by two daughters, Sandi (Dan) Rupp of Spring Green and Sheila Hocking of Cobb; his grandson, Clay McIntosh of Cobb; brothers and sisters and many friends. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Abundant Life Christian Center in Dodgeville with Pastor Wayne Kennedy officiating. Friends may call at the church on Saturday after 12:00 Noon.
