Edward J. Giesler, Sr., December 25, 1942 – May 26, 2019 Sign Guestbook Edward J. Giesler, Sr., 76, Suamico, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019. He was born to Catherine and Fredrick Giesler on December 25, 1942. Ed thoroughly enjoyed his work.

He was employed at Paper Converting Machine Co., Northern Engraving and Industrial Engraving. He began in sales and participated in Research and Development, where he authored several patents. Ed ended his career in Management.

Ed enjoyed the hobby of making wine, however, his favorite times were spent with his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife, Judy; his son, Edward Jr. (Cindi), and their children, Jacob and Benjamin; son, Robert and his children, Joseph (Camila) and Sarah (Ian); son, David (Jill) and their children, Nicole, Brett, Brodi and great-grandson, Grayson; son, Terry (Jennifer) and their children, Kailey, Devon, Thomas, Hannah, Taylor and Katlyn; step-children, Peter (Michelle) Rentmeester and their children, Joshua, Isaac and Grace; Renee (Joel) Justinger, their children, Abby and Noah. Ed is further survived by his siblings, Fredrick (Geraldine) and Patricia Watts; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his Uncle Ray and Aunt Angeline Dionne; and his granddaughter, Katie Nell. As per Ed’s wishes, his body has been donated to UW-Madison’s Medical School. There will be a Celebration of Ed’s Life on Saturday, June 1 at Townline Pub & Grill, 2544 Lineville Rd.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Ed’s name to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. The family would like to thank the staff at Tender Hearts Assisted Living for the care and compassion over the last six months.
