Beloved husband of 70 years to Mary Rita (nee Crandall); father of James (Barbara), Donald (Debbie), Stephen (Terri) and Laura Sweeney (Mark); grandfather of Courtney and Megan Lee, Marlo Perazzola, Natalie Cordery (Collin), Kathryn Sweeney (Tina) and Timothy Sweeney; great-grandfather of Annabelle and Graham Cordery; uncle and great-uncle of many. WWII U.S. Navy veteran.

Passed away May 28, 2019. Funeral Mass Friday, May 31, St. Julie Billiart Church (5500 Lear Nagle Rd. , North Ridgeville) at 10 A.M. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
