Obituary for Edward Kretzschmar Print KRETZSCHMAR, Edward – 79, of Paterson passed away on February 24, 2019. Born in Plainfield he lived in South Plainfield before moving to Paterson in 1955. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and prior to his retirement he was a warehouse worker.

Devoted son of the late Ernst and Flora (nee Vogel) Kretzschmar, Dear brother-in-law of Catherine Kretzschmar of North Haledon. Loving uncle of Henry Kretzschmar Jr., Kurt Kretzschmar and Amy Valenti. He is pre-deceased by his brothers; Karl and Henry Kretzschmar The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday from 4-6:30pm followed by a 6:30pm service at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes.
