OBITUARY Edward L. Laizer January 10, 1928 – December 28, 2018 Edward Lawrence Laizer, age 90, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2018 at his home in Metairie, Louisiana. Edward was born on January 10, 1928 to the late Stephen J. Laizer, Sr. and Hazel Jordan Laizer. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Estelle Alberes Laizer; his two sons, Edward Lawrence, Jr. and Lawrence Joseph Laizer; and his siblings, Stephen J. Laizer, Jr., Thomas J. Laizer and Ruth Laizer Auxilien.

He is survived by his daughters, Susan Laizer, Edith L. Flynn (Danny), Cheryl L. Toujouse (William) and Dianne L. Hellemn (Gary); his son, Paul Laizer; brother, Cyril R. Laizer (Giovanna); 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass held at St. Francis Xavier Church, 444 Metairie Rd. New Orleans, LA 70005 on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11:00 am.

Visitation at church will begin at 9:00 am. Interment will follow at Hope Mausoleum in New Orleans, LA.
