OBITUARY Edward Peter Slater II January 30, 1968 – January 2, 2019 Edward Peter Slater II, age 50, born January 30, 1968 in Hempstead, Long Island, New York. He died January 2, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from Lamar High School.

Edward was a welder for Bell Helicopter. He was a “Big Teddy Bear” and loved by all. He loved music and his favorite saying was “Music calms savage beast”.

Edward is survived by his son, D’von Slater; daughter, Aaliyah Slater and step son, Xavier Hodges; granddaughter, K’Lee Slater; four sisters, Salena Slater-Miller, Paulette Slater, Sheryl Slater-Middleton and Sandra Moore and loved by many nieces and nephews.
