Ronald “Ronny” J. Johnson, aka ‘Highwayman” age 74, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 25, 2019, at his home. He was born on June 7, 1944, in Fort Worth, TX, the son of Arlie L. and Hallie G. Johnson. Ronny retired from the City of Fort Worth Water Department after 30 + years of service.

He then worked for J.D. Von WahIde and Sons flooring company. Ronny was preceded in death by his parents, brothers’ Arlie (Sonny) Jr., Buddy and Richard Johnson; He is survived by his brother, Jimmy Johnson (Judy) of Crowley, TX. Sisters’ Annie Mae Smith of Gatesville and Linda J. Frick (Dr. Bill) of Temple, TX.

sister in laws, Carolyn Johnson of Crowley, TX and Linda Johnson, of Burleson, TX. Ronny also had a special relationship with his nephews and nieces, and many friends that he worked with in his career. A memorial celebration will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019, at 2:00p.m. at Burleson Church of Christ.
