Mr. Edward Wilder of Hyden, Kentucky departed this walk of life on Monday, October 29, 2018 at the age of 64. Edward was born September 09, 1954 in Hyden, Kentucky to the union of the late Howard and Ethel Couch Wilder. Edward had been a life-long resident of Leslie County and by occupation he was a retired coal miner.

Edward also worked as a gunsmith. Edward enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on guns. In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by his siblings, Billy, Bruce, and Ralph Wilder; one sister, Ruth Couch.

Edward leaves behind one beloved daughter, Tracie Cook & husband, Kevin of Hyden, KY; three sisters, Deloris Mosley & husband, Harold of HYden, KY, Betty Lou Bray & husband, Pete of Red Bird, KY, and Wanda Asher & J.T. Leath of Flat Lick, KY; two cherished grandchildren, Allie “Cat” Cook and Ryan Cook; a host of other family and friends also survive.
