Edwin “Big Ed” Louis Bickerstaff Sr.,84, of Paducah passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 at his home. He was born on April 8, 1934 in Grenada, Mississippi to the late LeRoy and Gladys King Bickerstaff. He was united in marriage on March 18, 1956 in Kingman, Arizona to Anna Sue Neihoff who survives him.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving his country during the Korean conflict, he was a 32nd Degree Mason and member of the 707 Grahamville, KY Lodge. He worked as a sheet metal worker out of Local 110 for 50 years and retired from Triangle Enterprises. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include his loving wife Sue of 62 years; his five sons, Eddie Jr. and Rhonda Bickerstaff of New Madrid, MO, Robert Bickerstaff of Paducah, Ray and Debbie Bickerstaff of Benton, KY, Mark and Christine Bickerstaff of Paducah, and Joel Bickerstaff of Wickliffe; his two daughters, Lisa and Alan Yarbrough of Paducah and Karen and Rick Felts of Hickory; and special children, Leslie and Lexie Hughes. He was papaw to 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be at 12:00pm on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev.

Dan Wisley officiating. Military honors will be rendered. Friends may visit the family from 10:00am to service hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
