OBITUARY EDWIN “Sue” Leon Gurley August 5, 1937 – September 14, 2018 Edwin “Sue” Leon Gurley of Mobile County passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018, at the age of 81 surrounded by his loving family. Sue was a loving and devoted son, brother, friend, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Kay Gurley; and his wife, Margaret Catherine Gurley. Surviving are his son, David Leon Gurley; three grandchildren, David Lee Gurley, Brent Edwin Gurley and Casey Gurley Hutcherson; eight great grandchildren; four sisters, Carolyn (Daryl) Trehern, Aquilla (Frank) Moorer, Hester Gains and Theresa Gipson; a brother, Dover Gurley. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 17, 2018 from Radney Funeral Home, Mobile, AL.

and again on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at Solid Rock Church of God, Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in Whistler Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL.
