Edythe Marie “Edy” Keller, 83, of Wake Forest, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 at WakeMed. Mrs. Keller was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Carl J. Giblin and Margaret Marleau Giblin. She married the love of her life Robert J. “Bob” Keller in 1956 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Cleveland, OH, where they remained parishioners for about 40 years.

They were married 64 years before his passing in 2017. They lived in Ocala, Florida for several years before moving to North Carolina in 2006. After moving to North Carolina, they became parishioners of Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Wake Forest.

While raising her kids and taking care of her family, which was her main focus, she worked for TRW, Inc. and Colony Mortgage both in Cleveland, OH and in retirement became a hospital volunteer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 o’clock, Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 600 West Holding Avenue, Wake Forest, NC. Friends may visit with the family immediately following the service at the church.

Mrs. Keller is survived by her children, Connie Zupancic & husband Bob of Wake Forest, Karen Gilbert & husband Bill of Wake Forest and Tom Keller & wife Debbie of Cleveland, OH; grandchildren, Kelly Andreas (Mike), Jim Zupancic (Chris), Eric Zupancic (Robyn), Lindsey Zeleny (Victor), Lauren Ritzert (Jen), Jesseca Keller, Ally Keller and Holly Keller; great-grandchildren, Kara, Henry and Brooke; sister, Ruth Drummond of Pueblo, CO; extended family and friends. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Carl Giblin and Edward Giblin. Memorial contributions can be made to Purr Partners, PO Box 905, Youngsville, NC 27596.
