Obituary for Effie Vickery Jones Effie Vickery Jones, 88 Lakeland – Effie Vickery Jones passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018. Effie was born in McRae, GA on December 11, 1929 to the late Forrest and Leila Vickery. She was a registered Nurse and a member of Victory Church.

She is preceded in death by her son, Waren Coleman. Effie is survived by her sons, Bobby L. Coleman (Karen) and David L. Coleman (Connie); daughters, Shirley M. Dixon, Patricia Jane Grinstead (Norm), Midge Dixon (Ben) and Judy L. Bolton (J.R.); brothers, Willis Vickery, John Vickery and Cleve Vickery; sisters, Analee Reece, Minnie Wright, Ruby Bowen, Audey Wright, Elizabeth Hendrix and Mae Mosley; 15 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Victory Church 1401 Griffin Road, Lakeland.
