Eileen’s Obituary Eileen was born in Yonkers New York to Robert “Tommy” Tomlinson and Ethel Ralph on December 5, 1936. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Adelphi University and her Master’s in Education from New York University before marrying the Reverend Donald A. Dunkerley in 1960. They had three children, David, Joyanne, and Kathleen.

Eileen loved to teach children to read and taught most of her adult life, working locally at East Hill Christian School and Creative Learning Center, now Creative Learning Academy. While teaching at CLC, she developed week long field trips. She took her fourth grade classes to Williamsburg, VA to learn colonial history and she took her fifth grade classes around the State of Florida to learn Florida history.

She had a passion for local pirates and wrote tour guides of local sites. She travelled extensively with her first husband visiting Europe, Africa, and Asia on multiple occasions to assist him with his mission projects. Don Dunkerley passed away in 1999 and she later married James R. Crabtree.

During her second marriage she travelled to Australia and also returned to Europe. Following Jim’s passing she took a cruise to South America allowing her to have set foot on every continent, except Antarctica, before departing this world on February 26, 2019. Eileen is preceded in death by her husbands, Donald A. Dunkerley and James R. Crabtree; and her daughter Joyanne Bragg Dunkerley.

She is survived by her children David (Debi) Dunkerley and Kathleen Harris; grandchildren Kismet and Justin Dunkerley; and a host of extended family, church family and close friends. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until the service begins at 2:00pm, Monday March 03, 2019 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 3400 Bayou Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32503. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations in Eileen’s name to: Trinity Memorial Fund, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 3400 Bayou Blvd. , Pensacola FL 32503.
