Eileen M. Ryan, 84 passed away peacefully at Genesis HealthCare Center on March 6, 2019. She was born October 21, 1934 in Swampscott, MA to the late Anthony Queena and Mary (Coyne) Queena. She attended Swampscott Public schools, graduating in 1952 and later worked for John Hancock Insurance.

She married the (late) Lawrence F. Ryan, Sr. on May 13, 1956. They were married for 51 wonderful years. Through friends they purchased a cottage on Square Lake in Shapleigh, Maine where they spent many happy summers.

Soon they discovered Wolfeboro in 1970 and made their home here. Eileen worked for the SAU and later secretary to Principal Jack Burnham at Carpenter School. She was also employed by Philip Ganem as a legal secretary.

In 1978, she and her husband moved to Florida and years later returned to Wolfeboro. She is survived by her four children: Lawrence Ryan Jr. of Wolfeboro, Terri Harriman and husband Brad of Wolfeboro, Thomas of Greensboro, NC and Geralyn LaGrange and husband Jeff of Graham, NC. She also leaves six grandchildren, Nicole Fass and husband Alan, Stacie Harriman, Tony Ryan, Kelly Ryan, Patrick LaGrange, Chris LaGrange, and five great grandchildren: Ava, Austin, Cooper, Lorelei & CJ.

. She also leaves a brother, Thomas Queena and wife Jean of Moncton New Brunswick and nieces & nephews. A private service and burial will be held in late spring.
