Obituary for Elaine Kovach Elaine Kovach, born in Illinois, was a longtime member and resident of Meadowood Golf and Tennis Club until 2015. She was a previous owner of the Surf Restaurant on North Hutchinson Island and later the Vero Beach Surf Restaurant. She was the devoted wife of John Kovach (deceased) and loving significant other to Bob Wedin (deceased).

Elaine was the loving mother of Angela (Stanley Moyer, deceased) of Vero Beach and Michael Verdonck (deceased) (Karen) of Niles, Illinois. She was also a loving, caring second mother to Marianne (David) Gebhardt of Bloomingdale, IL and Fort Pierce, and Christine Noel (Bruce Katz) of Tampa, Florida. She was the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She also leaves behind two adored nieces, Jackie Fuccarino of Arlington Heights, IL and Dorrie Schabow of Prospect Heights, IL. She was predeceased by sister Rosemary Kaso. It was her wish that there be no repose or visitation or scheduled service.
