Elaine R. (Gregoire) Hamel Wilson, 82 of So. Hadley Ma. passed away May 15, 2019 at Mont Marie Healthcare in Holyoke.

Born in Southbridge Ma. on May 15, 1937 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Roseanna (Beaulieu) Gregoire. She last worked as a receptionist at the J.C. Penny’s optical shop in Holyoke.

Elaine was predeceased by her first husband George W. Hamel and by her second husband Kenneth Wilson with whom she was an avid Antique car club member traveling to many shows together. Elaine is survived by her children Steven R. Hamel (Lynn) of Las Vegas, Bruce A. Hamel (Lela) of Chicopee, and Susan Calderon (Juan) of So. Hadley, a brother Richard Gregoire of Chicopee.

Her grandchildren Carla Hamel, Christin Hamel, Melissa Labrecque, John Loftus, Joseph Loftus, Aaron Gomes, Vannessa Calderon, Juan Calderon and Alizea Calderon and ten great grandchildren. A Service followed by a Celebration of Life will be begin at 11 a.m. at the 2nd Baptist Church, 589 Granby Rd. So.

Hadley Ma. on Sat. May 19th.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
