Elden H. Johnson “Red”, of Whitman, MA, passed away Wed July 4, 2018 after a long illness. He is survived by his mother Beverly Lemieux Johnson, his sister Barbara Johnson, his brother Lawrence Johnson Jr., his sister Deborah Houghton, his sister Beth Giffoni, his sister Kathy Johnson, nephew Richard Howe, neice Christine Howe, many Aunts, Uncles, Neices, Nephews, Cousins and the absolute love of his life, his granddaughter, Alannah Benotti. Red loved EVERYONE and you couldn’t help but love him back.

The injustices and cruelties in this world tore at his heart with a passion. Had he had the power to do so, he would help any human or animal alike who needed it. Red is at peace with his late wife Janine, son Richard, daughter Toni, father Lawrence Johnson Sr., brother Kenneth Johnson and nephew Jonathan Johnson.

Visiting hours will be held in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Fri July 13th from 4-7:30 pm, followed by a funeral service at 7:30 pm in the funeral home. All are welcome to attend.
