OBITUARY Eleanor “Louise” Evans September 16, 1941 – November 1, 2018 Eleanor “Louise” Evans, Age 77, passed away November 1, 2018. Eleanor always kept busy. She was a former cosmetologist at Jeanie’s Beautiful People Place and co-owner of Hair Creations, retired from Coleman, and later worked for First Student assisting with special needs children.

She was a firecracker who was strong willed, sassy and she devoted countless hours in the service of others. Eleanor was a lifetime member of the Eagle’s Club, American Legion, VFW, Eastern Star, American Families of Missing in Action Veterans, and she enjoyed playing Bingo. Though she was constantly working and volunteering her true passion was her family.

She especially loved devoting all her spare time to her grand and great-grandchildren. She had so much heart and brought so much light to those she loved; she will be dearly missed. She is preceded in passing by her husband, Forrest E. Evans; brother-in-law, Haywood “Moon” Evans; and 12 siblings.

She is survived by her son, William “Alan” (Tamara) Evans; daughter, Vanessa (Chris) Confer; sisters, Carolyn Evans and Patricia Rodgers; grandchildren, Amber (Matthew) Gifford, Aaron (Sarah) Herd, Holly (Jeremy) Willig, Jason F. (Erika) Evans, Michelle L. Evans, Kelci A. Evans, Vladyslav P. Holovan, Kirstin K. (Nolan) Richmeier, Ryder A. Evans; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Gracie, A.J., Brody, Bradley, Christian, Calista, Keaton, Ellie, Ignacio, Ezekiel, Landon, Brooklyn, Cameron, Rosalie; niece, Susie (Bob) Schnittker; nephews, Rodney Evans and Todd (Stephanie) Evans and their families. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2018, and a Celebration of Life Service 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2018, both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita KS, 67209.
