Pre-deceased by Thomas A. of Colonial Manor. Eleanor was a 1957 graduate of Woodbury High School and lived in Gloucester County all her life.

She grew up in Almonesson and spent summers swimming and kayaking at Sunset Beach. She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, animals, taking long walks, camping and tennis. She was an avid bowler, accumulating many trophies.

Her favorite place was the Wildwood Boardwalk and beach. Recently she enjoyed summers at Lake Hurff and Wenonah Lake. Member and past president of the GFWC Woman’s Club of Glassboro.

Eleanor actively volunteered for Ranch Hope and was treasurer of the Gloucester County Auxiliary. She also was a member of several senior citizen clubs. There will be a viewing from 9am to 10am Thursday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Funeral service 10am at the funeral home. Interment Wenonah Cemetery, Mantua, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eleanor’s memory to the American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150 Chicago, IL 60601.
