Elias Velasco Bertomo was 58 years old when he passed away Wednesday, January 9th. A resident of Bergenfield since 2001, Elias was born and raised in ILoILo, Philippines. He and his wife Victoria would later move to the United States in 1998.

Elias received his BS in Civil Engineering and worked as a Construction Supervisor for Gilbane Construction. He is survived by his loving mother Francisca Bertomo, his beloved wife Victoria Bertomo, his cherished children Aprile and Christian Bertomo, and his devoted siblings; Elizabeth Bertomo, Elvie Banico, Yours Resplandor, Estella Bertomo, Elsie Billena, Efrain Bertomo, and Enevic Bombita. Relatives and friends are invited to attented visitng hours in the Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4pm and 6-9pm.

Elias will be buried in Maasin Catholic Cemetery, ILoILo, Philippines the following week.
