OBITUARY Elida Garcia March 29, 1929 – September 10, 2018 On Monday, September 10, 2018, Elida Garcia, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 89 years. Elida will be forever remembered by her daughter, Audelia Castro and son Humberto J. Garcia. Elida will also be remembered by grandchildren Humberto (Papi) Garcia III, Krystal M. Villegas, Veronica A. Green, Jesse R. Castro III, Amanda A. Castro, Xavier L. Castro; great-grandchildren Avery J. Green, Alina E. Villegas, Audrey V. Green, Milla I. Villegas, Michael A. Garcia, Leila A. Alvarado, niece Gloria Robledo and her children Ray Robledo, Robert Robledo, Ana Jenkins, Gloria Saavedra, great-nephew Larry Flores, great-nieces Elizabeth Moreno and Rosenda Diane Casares, as well as a host of extended family and dear friends.

Elida was proceeded in death by her mother, Rosenda Delafuente, sister Maria Becerra, sister Audelia Delafuente, nephew Eddie Flores, and husband Humberto S. Garcia. A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, September 13th, from 5 pm – 9 pm. , at Crespo Funeral Home, 4136 Broadway St, Houston, TX 77087.

A Celebration of Elida’s life will be held at 10 am, on Friday, September 14th, at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 2405 Navigation Blvd. , Houston, TX 77003.
