Obituary for Mrs. Margaret May Cummins Margaret May Cummins, 92, was born in Gonzalez, Texas on November 9, 1925 to parents Hattie and Edward Knappick and passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018. Margaret was the third of nine children. She lived in Houston and Elgin throughout her life.

On November 29, 1945 she married Vernon Cummins. Margaret was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Galena Park, TX. She enjoyed gardening, and spending time with her cows.

One of the most important events in her life was her ride in the Salt Grass Trail Ride. Margaret is survived by her sister, Dorothy; daughters, LaVerne, Connie and Bonnie; sons, Ronald and Kenneth; 11 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at San Jacinto Funeral Home from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00pm.
