Elida Santoya Hernandez, born June 5, 1935 in Dilley, Texas entered into rest and reunited with her loving Husband on Thursday, March 28, 2019 in Jourdanton, Texas. Mrs. Hernandez is preceded in death by her Husband, Emir K. Hernandez; Father, Eloy Santoya; Mother, Concepcion Santoya; Sons, Ruben Hernandez, Armando Hernandez; Brothers, Julian Santoya, Teofilo Santoya, Israel Santoya, Graciano Santoya, and Sister, Esther Torres. She is survived by her Daughter, Yolanda Hernandez; Sons, Emir Hernandez, Jr., Richard Hernandez; and Sister, Odillia S. Castillo; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Mrs. Hernandez loved attending church and spending time with her family. She was passionate about helping others and would volunteer at Teen Challenge. Mrs. Hernandez will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. at the Camero Funeral Home.
