98, of Johnston, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Joan McGovern for three years and to the late Theresa (DeFusco) Lossini for fifty-eight years. Born in Pico, Italy, he was a son of the late Luigi and Angela (Lombardi) Lossini.

Duke started his career after serving in the military as a tool maker and he combined his artistic talents and tool making ability into his own business making lockets from 1957 until he retired in 2016. He was well known as the locket king thanks to his craftmanship and artistic abilities. Duke is also survived by his two loving children, Laura A. Grimes of Brooklyn, CT and Louis R. Lossini and his wife Alexandra of Cranston.

He was the cherished grandfather of five and great-grandfather of five. He was the loving brother of Yolanda Comeau of FL, the late Nunzio “Lucky” Lossini and Marie “Maggie” Gasparri. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 9th at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Ave.

, Providence at 11:00 a.m.. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, 73 Church St., Cranston. Visiting Hours: Wednesday morning from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
