Elisha’s Obituary Elisha Byars, age 65, of Sulligent, AL passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 at her residence. To honor Elisha’s request, a private memorial service will be held. Elisha was born on August 24, 1953 in Sulligent, AL to the late Odie Lee Kittrell.

Elisha was a 1972 graduate of Sulligent High School. She held various jobs through the years and in 1998 became president of E.O. Byars Construction, but her most prized job was taking care of her home and family. Elisha thoroughly enjoyed taking care of others, cooking, and loved people with such compassion, always wanting to remain behind the scenes with no recognition for her many acts of kindness.

Elisha was such a selfless and truly giving person and though small in stature, she was so very strong in spirit.
