Elizabeth’s Obituary Elizabeth A. Sibert, 95, of Des Moines and formerly of Cedar Falls, died Monday, March 11, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Shirley was born June 1, 1923 in Es, Iowa, the daughter of Glenn & Grace (Velie) McMaster. She married Joseph Sibert August 13, 1943 in Elcentro, California.

He preceded her in death January 12, 1998. Elizabeth was an Executive Secretary at the University of Northern Iowa. Survivors include two daughters, Karen (Don) Rumelhart of Des Moines and Shirley Stone of Bradenton, Florida; and two grandchildren, Kim Miller of Little Elm, Texas and David Rumelhart of Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one son, Steven Sibert. Services will be 10:30 a.m. June 7, 2019 at Fredsville Lutheran Church with inurnment in Fredsville Lutheran Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.
