She was born January 14, 1924 to Edward Franklin and Annie Edrington. Elizabeth married Harlan Schwamb June 29, 1943.

Elizabeth was a faithful member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church where she played the piano and organ until her health caused her to stop playing. She worked on the collar line at Ely-Walker shirt factory until her retirement. She was affectionately known to her nieces and nephews as “Bissus”.

She is survived by her daughter Pat (Joel) Barker of Lakewood, Colorado; son Mike (Linda) Schwamb of Paragould; two grandchildren: Tim (Christi) Schwamb and Abigail (Robert) Saponas all of Colorado Springs, Colorado; three great grandchildren: Addison, Brennan, and Lauren Schwamb, and one step great-granddaughter Danielle Saponas, all of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and two sisters: Louise Harris and Beverly Davenport of Paragould. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother, J.C. Edrington. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday January 31, 2019 at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Paragould.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may sign the online guestbook at www.
