Between those dates she was known as Beth and lived an extraordinary life. Born in Missoula Montana to Lora and Wesley Schoonover , she moved with her family to Enumclaw Washington as an infant.

Growing up in the Great Depression and World War ll shaped her attitudes and philosophy of life. Graduating from Enumclaw High School near the end of the war, she entered nurses training at Tacoma General Hospital and graduated as an RN. She then married her high school sweetheart Robert Fisher who was returning from service in the Navy.

They were married and together for over 70 years and holding hands to the end. They raised two sons, Greg and Doug and had many wonderful family adventures. Beth managed what so few people are able to.

She was able to nurture her children, her marriage, and herself throughout her life. She and Bob traveled, played golf and gardened as long as they could. They loved to dance and made time to enjoy each other.

Beth was an artist and developed her talents in painting and other art forms. She spent countless hours taking her kids to sports practices, music lessons, and teaching them to cook. Beth is survived by her husband Bob, her sons, daughters-in law, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
