OBITUARY Elizabeth “Betty” Lydon April 3, 1946 – October 29, 2018 Elizabeth (Hughes) Lydon Elizabeth “Betty” Lydon, 72, of Harwich Port, MA, died October 29, 2018. She was the beloved mother of Mark Lydon (Michelle) of Chester Springs, PA, Gregory Lydon (Elizabeth) of Arlington, VA, and Brian Lydon (Autumn) of Etters, PA, and the adored grandmother of seven grandchildren. She is survived by her devoted former spouse Paul Lydon of Harwich Port, and siblings John Hughes of Cotuit, MA, Maryanne Rizzo of Walpole, MA, Robert Hughes DMD of Stoneham, MA, Helene Monaghan of Hingham, MA, and Paul Hughes of Milton, MA.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday, November 4, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, at Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 729 Route 134, South Dennis, MA 02660. A funeral will be on Monday, November 5, at 11:00am, at Our Lady of the Cape Catholic Church, 468 Stony Brook Road, Brewster, MA 02631. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Betty’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave.
