She was born February 14, 1925 in Green Township, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Blair and Katheryn (Learn) Goodlin. She was the wife of the late Raymond Long, Sr. Elizabeth, called Libby, was employed by Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz as secretary until her retirement.
