Elizabeth H. Daisey, 98, of Newport, previously of Chincoteaque, VA, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019, at Crystal Bluffs Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. Funeral services in Chincoteague, Virginia to be announced. Elizabeth cherished her family and had a deep love for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was a faithful Christian woman who was devoted to her church, Union Baptist in Virginia. She is survived by her daughter, Linda L. Guerry; sons, Asher L. Daisey and Robert L. Daisey; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Annie Cherricks; son, Fletcher L. Taylor; sister, Charolette Sigmon; and 2 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to Union Baptist Church at 6365 Church St, Chincoteague Island, VA 23336 or the American Cancer Society at 930-B Wellness Dr., Greenville, NC 27834.
