Mary Conner, 97, of Morehead City, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at Carteret Health Care. Mary was a talented seamstress that worked for Morehead Garment Company. She was a compassionate woman who used her gifting to bless others by donating quilts that she made to raise money for charity.

Her other interests included reading and gardening. Mary will be remembered most for being a mother to not only her own children, but others as well. She is survived by her daughter, Mary J. Conner of Morehead City; grandchildren, Robin, Anderson and Alan; and friends, Angie Pavone, Christine Natividad, Rhonda Sensennich, April Conway and Brie Avery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen “Cotton” Conner; parents, Albert and Grossie Tinnin; sons, Richard Conner, Roger Conner and Alan Conner. Online condolences may be made at www. mundenfuneralhome.net Arrangements by Munden Funeral Home and Crematory in Morehead City, NC.
