Rhinebeck – With regret, we announce the decease of Elizabeth Shaw Albertson. Liz was born December 8, 1942 in Schenectady, NY; the daughter of Katherine Shaw. Educated at Linton High School and Daemen College, Buffalo, she taught at Dutchess Community College for many years.

Her family, husband Vincent and son Patrick, lived in Rhinebeck for the last 38 years. Her husband Vincent Albertson passed away January 2, 2018. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Patrick and Maura, and her step-grandchildren Mallory, Michael and Maria; as well as many Albertson in-laws with whom she shared 49 years of family events.

The Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 31st, 11 AM, at the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, 3 Msgr. Joy Plaza, Rhinebeck. Memorial donations may be made to the Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation, 6531 Springbrook Ave.
