Elizabeth Malinconico, 95, of Matawan, NJ passed away Wednesday, May 8th, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Elizabeth was born in Matawan, NJ on September 24, 1923, a daughter of the late Olympia Davino Nunziato and Joseph Nunziato. She lived her entire life in Matawan.

Elizabeth was a life long parishioner of St. Joseph’s RCC, Keyport, volunteered at Bayshore Hospital, but mostly loved to cook and bake. Elizabeth is predeceased by her son Robert, brothers John and Andrew Nunziato and sisters Olympia Dorwin and Florence Malinconico. She is survived by her sister Marie Concetta Dorwin, grandchildren, Robert, Aniello and Michael Malinconico and 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation for Elizabeth will be held Sunday May 12, 2019 from 2-5pm at Day Funeral home and again Monday 9am at the funeral home. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 10am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
