Our beloved Mom, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Granddaughter, the person who touched everyone she met and always gave a helping hand to anyone who needed it… Elizabeth Rose Segura, age 41, passed away on April 27, 2019. She was born on February 2, 1978 at Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City to Lucy Martinez and Joe Melquedes Segura. Elizabeth raised her only son for 19 years to be the man that he is today with all of her love.

She followed along with the relationship that she had with Diego’s father that had ended on a good note. She always provided a great example to all of the kids in the family which resulted with them loving her unconditionally. Her personality made her stand out in every room or place the walked in because of her most contagious laugh.

From Diego: “Watch down on me, and hold my hand and guide me throughout my life. I honestly don’t know how I’m going to do this without you, but I know you are my guardian angel. I love you so much Mama!

You’ll always be my number 1, your pain is gone and your stay was short but your memory will last forever! ! !

You and Me Forever! ” Elizabeth is survived by her son, Diego Gallegos; Mother, Lucy Segura; Father, Joe Segura; Diego’s Dad, Joseph Gallegos; Grandmother, Rose Martinez; Sister, Monica Segura; Nieces, Dominique Deherrera; Alyxce Martinez; Andrea Baum; Adelynn Martinez; Nephew, Michael Deherrera; Great Nephews and Nieces, Kianna Ball; Korbin Ball; Daniel Baum; Kyia Beckmann; Kaelyn Beckmann; Jayden Martinez. She was preceded in death by Grandma, Rebecca Segura; Grandpa, Frank R. Martinez and Grandpa, Frank Segura.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 12:00 PM with a luncheon following services. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Elizabeth Rose Segura please visit our Sympathy Store.
