Memorial services for Elizabeth Segura, 48, of Lufkin, will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin with Fr. Raymundo Garcia officiating. Mrs. Segura was born January 12, 1970 in Laredo, Texas, the daughter of Curtis Roger Staggs and Maria (Alejandro) Staggs, and died Thursday, November 15, 2018 in Lufkin.

Mrs. Segura enjoyed cooking, shopping and working in her garden. She kept her home clean, and loved her dogs, Pika and Tiliko. She is survived by her husband, Carols Segura of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Francisca Perez and Francisco Segura of Huntington; son, Andrew Staggs of Huntington; daughter, Neida Pichardo of Lufkin; grandsons, Francisco J. Segura and Isaias R. Segura, both of Huntington; grandson, Christian Rios of San Antonio; along with her close family, Raymundo Segura, Francisco A. Segura, Diane Murphy, Jesus and Christy Segura, Elizabeth and Abraham Segura, Yvonne Perez, Elizabeth Perez, Odalis Perez, Ivette Perez, Rafael Perez, Rafael Perez Jr., Christine Rios, Marcos Rios, Amy and Lori, and Lino.

Mrs. Segura was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Ruben Rios Jr. Shafer Funeral Home, Lufkin directors.
