Funeral services for Jeffrey W. Boulware, 50, of Zavalla, will be held Monday, November 19, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church in Zavalla with Bro. Larry Innerarity and Bro. Jackson Colwell officiating.

Interment will follow at the Zavalla Cemetery. Jeffrey was born October 17, 1968 in Lufkin, Texas, the son of John (Bob) Boulware and Janeice Burden Boulware, and died Friday, November 16, 2018 in Zavalla. Jeffrey was a lifetime resident of Zavalla, Texas.

He was a hard-working man, and worked for Lufkin Industries for 29 years, 20 of which were in perfect attendance. Jeffrey was Vice President for the Angelina County Texas Farm Bureau Board and was the Zavalla 4-H Club manager for 15 years. He was also associated with the Angelina County 4-H Club.

Jeffrey was an active member at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church and his favorite bible verse was Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. He loved his dogs, Kirby and Alto. Above all, Jeffrey was a loving father, grandfather, son and brother and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Boulware; daughter, Lauren Boulware; son and fiancé, Thomas Boulware and Carly Hammerly; daughter, Brittany Fishar; grandchildren, Addison, Rayson, and Sophia; parents, John (Bob) and Janeice Boulware; brother, John Boulware; brother and wife, Jimmy and Tara Boulware; nephews, Justin and Jackson Boulware; aunts and uncles, Wayne and Ima Burden, and Roger and Alice Boulware; along with numerous cousins, relatives, and friends. Jeffrey was preceded in death by grandparents, T. F. and Lorene Boulware; grandfather, Travis Burden; great-grandparents, Wallace and Margenia Boulware; and mother-in-law, Shirley Ripper. Pallbearers will be Curtis Shoemaker, Larry Joiner, Jeff Lee, Dewey Boulware, Clayton Boulware, and James Barge.

In lieu of flowers, special memorials may be made to the Angelina County 4-H Club, P.O. Box 467, Lufkin, Texas 75901. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church. Shafer Funeral Home, Lufkin directors.
