Miller, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at her home in Lakeland. Born December 17, 1931 in Oneonta, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Rosina Simmons. Mrs. Miller worked as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant at Polk General Hospital for 38 years before retiring.

She is preceded in death by two son-in-laws: Ted Horn Sr., Noah Kennedy, and a grandson, Tommy Kelly. She is survived by four children: Mikki Horn (David Williamson) of Highland City, John White (Cindy) of Alturas, Bobby White (Carmen) of Highland City and Laura Kennedy (John) of Cape Girardeau, MO. She also leaves behind fourteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.
