Elizabeth Anne Miller March 6, 2000 – February 21, 2019 Elizabeth Anne Miller passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 21 at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon, after an extended time in ICU. She was born at Doernbecher/OHSU on March 6, 2000 to Steve and Debbie (Ballard) Miller of Albany. Elizabeth, a senior in high school, had been home schooled and also attended classes at West Albany High School and participated in Classical Conversations and JBC Homeschool Co-ops.

Elizabeth loved her family, extended family, adopted aunties and uncles, and friends, and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. Her smile, her gentle energy, and love for Jesus and others shone brightly. Elizabeth enjoyed working with animals of all kinds: her 4-H lamb Lucy, her sister’s goat, the family chickens, and her friends’ horses.

Most recently she was intently focused on training and playing with her dog, Abby. She enjoyed art, especially her Bible Journal, playing the piano and listening to a wide variety of music, hiking and travelling with her family, and visiting her cousins in Idaho. Elizabeth is survived by her parents; her older sister, Janae; her grandmother, Oneta Ballard of Albany; and her many aunts, uncles and cousins.

We all are comforted by the certainty that Elizabeth is in the presence of her Savior, Jesus, and we look forward to joining her when God calls. Family, friends and all whose lives Elizabeth touched are invited to a memorial service at 2:00PM on Saturday, March 9 at First Baptist Church in Corvallis, 125 NW 10th Street, Corvallis to celebrate her life and honor the Lord that she loved. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to help the Miller family defray medical expenses.
