Elizabeth Sheehan Vincent, of Orange and Southampton Princess, Bermuda passed away peacefully December 11, 2018 at her home. She was the loving wife of 61 years of Marc E. Vincent. Born in West Haven, CT January 19, 1933, daughter of the late Raymond J. and Anna Gray Sheehan, Bette was a graduate of Southern Connecticut State College where she earned her teaching degree.

She was a fourth-grade teacher in the West Haven public schools for 30 years. She was one of the best teachers at the Union and Thompson Schools and touched the lives of many children. Bette enjoyed traveling and their annual visits to Bermuda.

She was a member of the “9 Holers” at Race Brook Country Club for many years. She was predeceased by her brother Richard Sheehan. Bette’s family would like to thank the Orange Visiting Nurses and Patricia Osei of the Visiting Angels for all the loving care given to her during her illness.

Visiting hours will be held Saturday morning from 8:45-10 in Our Lady of the Assumption Church 81 Center Rd. in Woodbridge. (PLEASE NOTE CHANGE IN LOCATION.

) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. The Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. is in care of her arrangements.
